KIDSUP is an early learning centre at 150 Katimavik Rd in Kanata for children aged 3 to 8. Inside are classrooms for lessons in groups of up to 15 children or one-to-one, playrooms where children learn through play, and a music studio with soundproof walls, a full-size piano, drums, xylophones and ukuleles. Classes run 9AM–1PM in English.
Lessons of all four programs: Early development (ages 3–6), Preparation for school, group classes and individual sessions (ages 4–8). Groups have up to 15 children; in an individual session the teacher works with one child. Teachers use Montessori and Reggio Emilia methods.
Play spaces where children learn through role-play, construction sets, math and logic games and educational toys. Play-based learning is part of every KIDSUP program.
A room with soundproof walls and audio equipment: a full-size piano, children’s drums, xylophones, synthesizers and ukuleles. Children have individual or group music lessons there and perform at regular concerts.
